How We Began: Founder and President Ken Anderson, PhD has been working in research and development towards advancing solar technology under grants from the Department of Energy and in collaboration with the National Renewable Energy Labs in Golden, Colorado for the past 4 years. Ken has also been very active in providing internet-based solar energy education so that more people can make informed decisions in their purchase of a solar energy system. Solar Planet is a culmination of several years of experience in providing solar education online and a fulfillment of Ken’s desire to provide a reliable and trustworthy website that pairs users with prescreened and reputable solar energy companies throughout the US.
